Pay rate: $20 – $23/hour
The Senior Volunteer Program’s Volunteer Program Coordinator provides professional volunteer management for the Senior Volunteer Programs including recruitment, screening, interviewing, placements, supervision and recognition of older volunteers age 55+ volunteering in organizations, schools and private homes in York, Cumberland and York Counties. This position contributes to the accomplishment of The Opportunity Alliance’s mission through the provision of direct service to Foster Grandparents and Senior Companions. This position will staff a committee of the Senior Volunteer Advisory Council. Work is performed, reviewed, and evaluated under the supervision of the Senior Volunteer Program Director.
Schedule: Full-Time, 32 hours/week.
Location: South Portland, primarily on-site with some potential
Position will be primarily on site, with some local travel to program sites.
