• Teammates work out of a shared email inbox where emails are assigned daily. Each teammate is responsible to ensure the issue comes to resolution before moving it to a “completed” status by ensuring our SLAs are met.
• Teammates also work out of RLDatix for other escalations that are received throughout the organization.
• This team does NOT work on a phone queue but rather individual phone lines. Teammates are responsible to call back any patients if they receive a voicemail as well as answering any calls they receive throughout their shift.
• Responsible to research, respond and provide coaching opportunities on escalations from payers, government agencies, and upper management. This includes formal written responses to payers and government agencies.
• Responsible to assist with ERP coding issues by collaborating with other areas of the business for order placing.
• Responsible to submit updates to TB for payer changes.
• Closely work with the managed care team for any payer issues related to coverage, payment, patient issues.
• Communicate with patients when an escalation is presented; deescalate patients by answering their concerns, and ensure the patients receives the supplies needed and/or their issue(s) is resolved.
• Active participant on new payer’s implementation calls.
• Teammates in this position will learn the entire cycle of the order from order entry to billing/collections for both new and re-order.
• This position is not limited to Diabetes as the team is trained to work all therapies offered by Byram.
