Guest Protection Services Representative (Part-Time)

Acquisition.com

Las Vegas, NV (Fully Onsite)

MEET ACQ:

At Acquisition.com http://Acquisition.com, we’re a team of entrepreneurs on a mission to make real business education available to everyone. There are 34 million small and medium businesses in the United States. They’re the backbone of the economy, but many will never reach their full potential because the education available to them is outdated, impractical, and built for classrooms instead of companies.

We’re fixing that by giving founders and business owners the tools, knowledge, and support they need to grow. The proof is in our results:

- Built an Advisory Practice that’s already served more than 3,500 clients in its first year

- Broke the world record for non-fiction book sales in 24 hours with https://www.amazon.com/100M-Money-Models-Make-Acquisition-com-ebook/dp/B0FMXTZ4MH$100M Money Models

- Scaled to nine figures in 18 months without any outside capital

We believe in high standards, hard work, and helping others win. If that resonates, you’ll feel at home here.

ROLE:

The Guest Protection Service Representative is the first point of contact for everyone who walks through our doors. This role sits at the front desk, manages the flow of guests, clients, vendors, and team members in and out of our buildings, and makes sure every person has a smooth, professional experience from the moment they arrive.

This is a part-time, unarmed position. This is a Guest experience role; you will anticipate needs, remember names, and make founders and guests feel like they are expected rather than processed. You control building access, monitor cameras and entry points, and respond first when something goes wrong. The day-to-day is people, not patrol. You are the face of the company at the door.

Our core values are Sincere Candor, Competitive Greatness, and Unimpeachable Character. This role lives those values in front of every guest and every team member, every day.

You are also an active member of the building operations team. On event days, you support client check-in and the events team. On regular days, you support office operations and facilities. The job is broader than a post, and we expect you to help before you are asked.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Guest Experience

- Greet all guests, clients, vendors, and team members warmly and professionally, and set an exceptionally positive tone for their entire visit.

- Answer questions and provide clear, helpful information about the building, scheduled activities, and available amenities.

- Anticipate and accommodate special requests whenever possible, or promptly escalate them to the appropriate team member.

- Engage guests in friendly, professional conversation to learn more about them and identify opportunities to recognize, personalize, and “wow” them.

- Receive packages, deliveries, and mail, and promptly notify the appropriate team members.

- Securely store and monitor guest luggage in the designated area.

- Maintain a welcoming, polished, and professional front-desk environment.

- Do everything possible to support and maintain a culture of genuine hospitality, ensuring every guest feels welcome, comfortable, and at home.

Access Management

- Control access to both HQ and the Annex and grant entry only to approved individuals.

- Verify the identity and authorization of guests, clients, vendors, and other visitors before allowing access.

- Issue, track, and collect visitor badges and temporary access credentials.

- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date visitor log.

- Manage the flow of people entering and exiting both buildings, including guests, deliveries, contractors, and vendor arrivals.

- Coordinate with the appropriate team members when access approval or additional direction is required.

- Monitor guest luggage and other stored belongings to prevent unauthorized access.

Safety and Monitoring

- Monitor cameras, alarms, and entry points from the front desk and respond promptly to anything irregular.

- Serve as first responder to incidents on the premises, and escalate to authorities or leadership as appropriate.

- De-escalate tense situations calmly and professionally, with intervention as a last resort.

- Log all incidents and escalations accurately in company software.

- Respond immediately to medical emergencies by activating emergency protocols (contacting EMS, notifying on-site management), providing basic first aid or CPR only if currently certified to do so, and documenting the incident in detail.

- Conduct walkthroughs of the property as scheduled.

Event Support

- Support client check-in, badging, and arrival flow on event days.

- Implement enhanced entry protocols during major events as directed.

- Partner with the events team on setup, breakdown, and onsite client support.

- Support the onsite event manager(s) with client escalations, following the client escalations guide and standard protocols.

Office Operations and Facilities Support

- Sign in vendors and coordinate their access and scheduling.

- Support office administration tasks, supply management, and general upkeep of shared spaces.

- Assist facilities with maintenance coordination and light hands-on work.

- Take on additional work outside this description when the team needs it.

Results

- Every guest, client, and team member has a professional, welcoming experience at the door.

- Nobody enters either building without being verified, logged, and accounted for.

- Incidents are caught early, handled calmly, escalated correctly, and documented clearly.

- Event check-in runs smoothly, and the events team has reliable on-site support.

- Office and facilities work moves forward without needing to be chased.

- The front desk is a resource other teams rely on, not a checkpoint they work around.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Two or more years in hospitality, front desk, guest services, or a comparable client-facing role.

- Current Nevada security guard registration, or ability to obtain one within 30 days of start.

- Must be 21 years of age or older.

- Must pass a comprehensive background investigation.

- Must live in the Las Vegas, NV area.

- Valid Driver's License.

- Strong written and verbal communication, including clear incident documentation.

- Comfortable with Google Workspace, camera and access control systems, and mobile apps used by the team.

- Willing to carry a company-issued radio and non-lethal deterrent (Saber Red OC gel).

- Successfully complete company-provided de-escalation, customer service, first aid, CPR/AED, and OC deployment training within 8 weeks of start date, and periodically thereafter.

- Demonstrate a willingness to learn, develop, and master all aspects of this position.

- Professional appearance and adherence to company dress code, including standard company dress code on event days.

Preferred Requirements:

- Experience in a client-facing or hospitality environment where service and safety sit in the same role.

- Experience with visitor management, badging, or access control systems.

- Prior experience supporting live events or high-volume guest arrivals.
