Senior Media Planner

Adobe

The Opportunity

Ready to build the media planning playbook for one of the world's most recognized brands? Adobe is establishing a new in-house media planning function to take direct ownership of end-to-end media buying and develop an AI-driven engine for global advertising execution. As Senior Media Planner, this role translates the regional media approach into tactical media plans for one or more paid channels. The focus starts with Meta, TikTok, and Snap and converts strategy into plans for the buy desk to implement. It's an early opportunity to help shape how Adobe plans and buys media for years to come!

Key Responsibilities

Develop tactical media plans for assigned channels (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Snap), covering audience targeting, budget allocation, flighting, and placement strategies, based on localised media approach briefs.

  • Maintain alignment with regional strategy team on channel executions on a day-to-day basis
  • Apply platform-specific guidelines and stay current on each channel's ad products, targeting capabilities, and measurement tools.
  • Partner with Adobe's India-based media-buying team to hand off plans for execution, flagging blocking issues and resolving them against the team's established playbook.
  • Bring Adobe's own adtech (GenPem, AEP, RTCDP, etc.) into plans where appropriate— supporting the broader “Adobe on Adobe” story.
  • Ensure campaigns are tagged, organized, and quality-checked to Ops-defined standards before they move to the buy desk.
  • Collaborate with regional media strategy leads to grasp local nuances (language, regulatory, pricing) while adhering to global planning standards.
  • Work jointly with media strategists to regularly review campaign reports with analysts. Then, convert the findings into suggestions for optimisation, such as budget adjustments, targeting updates, and creative refreshes for your channel(s).
  • Identify trends in performance, platform changes, or targeting/data-sharing opportunities and report them to the Director of Channel Planning and the wider Channel Planning team.
  • Working within a broader channel planning group, develop a standardised media planning process for quarterly planning requirements.
  • Work with major platforms to identify and deliver testing & beta opportunities aligned to our quarterly planning cycle.

What's Needed to Succeed!

  • 5+ years in digital advertising or media planning/buying, with hands-on experience in at least one of Meta, TikTok, or Snap
  • Strong working knowledge of platform ad managers, audience targeting tools, and campaign measurement
  • Experience managing multi-area activations, including platform setup across various countries and language options
  • A track record of delivering performance-focused paid social campaigns
  • Comfort reading campaign dashboards and working with analysts to develop clear improvement suggestions
  • Ability to translate strategic briefs into detailed, executable media plans
  • Clear communication across regional and offshore teams, holding to global standards while adapting to local needs
  • Strong attention to detail — comfortable owning QA, tagging, QC, and documentation for assigned plans
