Job Description:

Reports therapeutic and diagnostic concerns and safety issues to the Director of Practice Operations. Performs other duties as assigned. Reviews billing practices and coding to ensure timely physician and office reimbursement. Ensures employees are oriented within the hospital and their department, and evaluates them according to performance appraisal policies. Conducts routine departmental meetings and documents attendance and discussion minutes. Involves staff in performance improvement processes and creates action plans based on survey results. Coordinates installation of computers, staff education, and problem resolution at physician site locations. Reviews satisfaction survey results with staff and suggests ways to improve patient satisfaction. Assists Director of Practice Operations in ensuring clinics comply with accreditation standards, CMS Conditions of Participation, and state regulations. Ensures departmental staff comply with hospital-wide and departmental policies. Establishes staff schedules, ensures adequate coverage, and manages physician scheduling. Provides a safe environment for patient care through practice rounds, inventory control, and equipment checks. Monitors and documents patient care, including nursing assessments, treatments, order completion, patient education, and referrals.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must have knowledge of accrediting agency and state regulations. [Required]

Education:

  • Bachelor's in Business Administration [Preferred]
  • High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience:

  • Experience in medical records, coding and reimbursement. [Preferred]
  • Healthcare related field or equivalent work experience [Preferred]
  • Significant management experience in a group practice environment. [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$57,512.00 - $92,019.20
