About the Role
This role focuses on quality, critique, and real-world photography workflows.
As a QC, you will review labelled data and AI outputs inside the Aftershoot app, evaluating them from a photographer’s perspective. You’ll help identify gaps between what photographers expect and what the product currently delivers.
If you’ve used multiple photography tools and enjoy giving thoughtful, structured feedback on image selections and product behaviour, this role is for you.
💼 What you’ll do:
- Perform quality checks on labelled datasets and flag errors or inconsistencies
- Review AI culling outputs within the Aftershoot app
- Critique selections from a photographer’s point of view
- Identify edge cases, failure patterns, and quality gaps
- Provide clear, actionable feedback to improve labelling standards
- Share suggestions to improve product behaviour and culling logic
- Collaborate with ML and Product teams to align outputs with real photographer workflows
🫂What You’ll Bring
- Professional photography experience or deep hands-on usage of photography tools
- Strong understanding of real-world photography workflows
- Experience using other culling or editing tools (Lightroom, Photo Mechanic, etc.)
- Ability to critique image selections and explain why something works or doesn’t
- Strong attention to detail and structured thinking
- Comfort working from the Delhi office on a full time basis
What happens after you apply?
- Step 1: If your profile aligns with our vibe and requirements for the role, our people team will reach out to you for a brief phone call.
- Step 2: If everything aligns, your next chat will be with one of your future team members to better understand the role and your experience.
- Step 3: You will then be given a task - this helps us evaluate your thought process and help you showcase your expertise.
- Step 4: If everything goes well, you will meet the leadership for a quick bar-raiser round.
- Step 5: If you do manage to clear all rounds, this is the point we make an offer, shake hands, and welcome you to the team.
