Amazon Japan, striving to be "Earth's most customer-centric company," has relentlessly focused on enhancing customer convenience throughout its rapid growth. We are currently seeking Sr. Process Engineer for our External Fulfillment (EF) division, which plays a vital role in supporting our service. This position will be responsible for designing and implementing processes at our fulfillment centers. The role focuses on maximizing safety, quality, and productivity through continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives. This is an impactful position offering direct involvement in shaping Amazon's innovative services.

-Design optimal processes aligned with business requirements (including creation of capacity maps) -Drive automation and standardization of warehouse operations -Optimize resource allocation for new fulfillment center launches -Create and implement sustainable continuous improvement mechanisms (Kaizen)

About the team EFは外部の物流パートナー（3PL）の協力のもと、自社の物流センターにはない商材の取り扱いや急激な需要の変化にスピーディーに対応することで、セレクションの拡大とお客様の購買体験の向上に貢献しています。近年では、新しいシステムや管理基準の導入を進めており、更なる生産性と品質の向上を実現しています。

- Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously - Experience in ownership of projects and communicating timelines and executing independently - Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements - Experience in technical document writing using Visio, Word, Excel, or PowerPoint - Experience in leading large-scale, technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership, business case development, realizing customer benefits, and successful program completion - Knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project, and software for technical document writing such as Visio, Word, or PowerPoint - Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese

- Experience in manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering - Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency - Experience using Microsoft Word in a professional capacity - Experience communicating complex concepts clearly and persuasively to different audiences - Experience with process optimization - Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Experience converting insights into strategy and communicating complex ideas clearly and logically in written communication
