Key job responsibilities • Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market. • Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry. • Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed. • Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use. • Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems. • Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.

A day in the life As a Software Development Engineer in the International Seller Expansion team, you will: Take the lead on building innovative solutions to address the root causes of tax and invoicing defects Own technical relationships with business teams and cross-functional partners Design and implement scalable systems that handle millions of transactions Collaborate with team members to solve complex problems in tax calculation, invoicing, and compliance Contribute to the global expansion of our services Have a strong bias for action, invent and simplify, insist on the highest standards, and deliver results

About the team We are an early stage start-up who have launched multiple global cross border logistics solutions are live in 25+ cross-border regions across NA, EU, JP, AU and AE marketplaces and are now looking to enhance the SX and scale the platform to 50+ new regions in the next two years. Our charter is of strategic importance to WW consumer leadership with S-team visibility. We are expanding our team as we are at the cusp of a breakout with this unique opportunity. - 3+ years of building production software experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language - 1+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
