Sr Solution Architect, Ad Tech Ops, Prime Video Advertising

We're looking for a Sr. Solutions Architect who can consult with new and existing publishers, streaming partners, and app developers to improve their programmatic advertising infrastructure.

Key job responsibilities In this role, you will:

Be a key technical liaison for Prime Video Advertising's publishers, streaming partners, and app developers — serving as the go-to expert on ad tech integrations across CTV, mobile, and web surfaces

Design and architect end-to-end solutions for custom ad integrations, including ad server configurations, identity signal implementations, viewability frameworks, and programmatic supply-side infrastructure

Partner closely with business and account teams as a technical consultant, translating complex advertising technology requirements into scalable, well-documented solutions

Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges for our customers, including ad delivery latency, signal loss, measurement discrepancies, and playback integration issues

Champion new product requirements and features for development by synthesizing customer pain points and market trends into actionable engineering roadmaps

Identify short and long-term product opportunities and provide actionable architectural recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders

Define and evangelize best practices for ad tech integration patterns, creating reference architectures, runbooks, and onboarding documentation that scale across the partner ecosystem

Collaborate cross-functionally with Prime Video Playback, Pub Tech, Amazon Ads, and platform engineering teams to ensure architectural alignment and operational excellence

About the team Prime Video creates customer-focused streaming and advertising solutions and technologies. Our Ad Tech Ops team builds the technology infrastructure and ad serving systems to manage billions of advertising queries every day. The result is better quality advertising for content publishers and more relevant ads for customers. Our infrastructure supports millions of streaming users and handles billions of queries per day, all delivered in milliseconds.

- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience - 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience - Experience with and deep understanding of advertising technologies (i.e., ad server, DSP)

- Experience in publisher, ad tech or agency ad serving systems like Ad Manager 360 or FreeWheel - Experience conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences - Experience building and growing relationships with internal and external partners - Experience with identity resolution, audience targeting, and privacy-preserving advertising technologies

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
