THE ROLE: Evaluate and assist in the development of AMD AECG product using internal product analysis tools through extensive data mining and data analytics, to meet yield target. Responsibilities will also include testing and debugging of these tools as they go through revision enhancements. Work extensively within Product Development Engineering to understand their requirements to help develop tool functionalities that automate and enhance the quality of data analysis. Involve in solving Engineering Samples and early Production shipment issues. THE PERSON: You have a passion for next-generation FPGA and ASIC product development during NPI stage. You are a team player with excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with engineers across different sites and time zones. You possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and you're eager to learn and take on challenges. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform data mining and statistical data analysis on wafer sort and final test parametric to support initial product assessment Identify and drive parametric yield improvement to meet yield target Work closely with Tools Development engineers to feedback binning, yield and parametric results to enhance various Tools’ capabilities, functions and productivity. Develop methodologies to automate analytical tasks using scripting languages and AI Defines recipes for high volume Engineering Samples and Production supply. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Good analytical, communication, teamwork and troubleshooting skills Excellent problem solving and failure debug skills are required Basic understanding of product test methodology and implementation is a plus Hands-on knowledge on JMP statistical analysis tools and scripting languages such as Perl and Python is a plus Experience in manufacturing process is a plus ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor’s or Master’s Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or comparable disciplines LOCATION: Singapore #LI-MD1 Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
