About Our Clinic
Sequist Animal Hospital is an established small animal practice in Morrisville, Vermont, serving the community with compassionate, relationship-focused veterinary care. We’re looking for an experienced veterinarian who brings strong surgical skills and enjoys working alongside a collaborative team with a variety of clinical backgrounds.

Clinic Snapshot
- Practice type: Small Animal General Practice
- Avg. daily patient volume: Approximately 14 appointments per doctor
- Support staff ratio: Approximately 1.5 techs per DVM, including 1 CVT
- Case mix: Preventive care, general medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and sick-patient care
- Schedule: Approximately 10-hour shifts with flexibility around days worked
- Appointments: 30-minute appointment blocks
- Surgery: Strong surgical skills are a priority for this role; current surgical days are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- Team culture: Experienced, collaborative team with a mix of GP and ER experience
- No overnight or on-call responsibilities

You are a veterinarian who is:
- Experienced and confident in small animal surgery
- Comfortable independently managing a general practice caseload

Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university (required)
- Strong surgical skills and the ability to perform surgery independently
- Compassionate, client-centered approach to care
- Strong communication and client-education skills
- Previous clinical experience required; new graduates are not being considered for this opening
