Key Responsibilities:
The VP, Memberships is responsible for driving membership sales for Arcis’ private, members only clubs across the United States. The VP, Memberships will lead sales teams within their region in a multi-site environment to maximize sales and enhance member retention by developing and implementing scalable strategies to achieve revenue goals. Assist the SVP of Sales in the development and execution of key sales initiatives.
In addition, the VP, Memberships will:
- Drive continued evolution in the sales process to enable sustainable growth. Focus on a unique and consultative approach tailored to affluent individuals and families.
- Enhance membership development and pipeline management, ensuring effective assessment and closure of potential members, in collaboration with the SVP of Sales.
- Take charge of the member recruitment process, converting leads into booked appointments.
- Collaborate with leadership to refine the member acquisition experience, ensuring it aligns with the high standards and expectations of Arcis Axioms.
- Maintain a focus on recruiting active, engaged members who can contribute to and benefit from the Arcis club ecosystem.
- Recruit, train, coach, and retain top sales talent that can drive revenue in a B2C environment.
- Foster a culture of accountability, performance, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide clear leadership, direction, and recognition to the sales team, inspiring them to achieve their full potential.
- Develop and implement onboarding programs for new sales hires to promote successful acclimation within the team.
- Work with sales leadership to create processes, systems, and infrastructure to enable more streamlined data-driven decision-making as it relates to the member development process.
- Leverage reports and analytical systems that give actionable insight into the membership acquisition process.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of leadership in membership sales or relationship management roles across a variety of verticals and channels at a company that offers a high-end multi-site, membership-based service.
- Proven success leading teams in a highly consultative B2C sales environment.
- Experience developing and utilizing data analytics and metrics to drive accountability and shape strategies to optimize performance.
- Experience establishing KPIs and other metrics in order to capture data and continuously improve the sales team/function.
- Experience creating efficient and effective systems to evaluate member qualification.
- Demonstrated experience working and engaging affluent individuals and families.
- 10+ years of experience and deep knowledge of multi-site, membership-based community platforms tailored for affluent customers and their families preferred.
- Well-versed in all facets of a subscription-based membership fee revenue model and how to translate and communicate the value of Arcis Golf membership to stakeholders worldwide.
- Proven success as an effective communicator with high empathy and ability to leverage consultative listening skills to build trust.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Quickly fosters relationships with teams and external partners and provides direct, actionable guidance on how to drive corporate development.
- Hands-on, “roll up your sleeves” mindset with the proven ability to be a driver and change agent in an organization.
- Highly analytical with strong time management and organizational skills.
EDUCATION:
A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing or related field (mathematics, engineering) is required; MBA and/or advanced degree preferred.
COMPENSATION:
The selected candidate will receive an attractive compensation package consisting of base salary, bonus, long-term incentive, along with a comprehensive benefits plan.
