AT&T is seeking a highly analytical, business-focused Senior Compensation Strategy Consultant to join our Compensation team. In this role, you will help design, evaluate, and enhance compensation programs that support our talent strategy and business objectives across the enterprise.
Working closely with senior compensation leaders, HR Business Partners, Finance, and Legal teams, you will contribute to executive compensation programs, broad-based compensation initiatives, annual and long-term incentive plans, retention strategies, and compensation planning processes. You will also play a key role in developing executive-ready presentations, strategic recommendations, and thought leadership materials that inform compensation decisions at the highest levels of the organization.

What You’ll Do
- Partner with compensation leadership to design, evaluate, and enhance executive and broad-based compensation programs.
- Conduct market analysis, benchmarking, and competitive assessments to support compensation strategy and decision-making.
- Support the design and administration of annual and long-term incentive programs.
- Develop analyses and recommendations related to executive compensation, retention programs, perquisites, and benefits.
- Contribute to annual compensation planning activities, including salary review and incentive planning processes.
- Prepare executive-level presentations, white papers, business cases, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
- Analyze compensation trends, workforce data, and external market information to identify opportunities and emerging practices.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, and business leaders to ensure compensation programs align with business objectives and governance requirements.
- Translate complex compensation analyses into clear, compelling narratives that drive informed decisions.
- Support compensation governance, program communications, and strategic initiatives that enhance AT&T's total rewards offerings.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive compensation experience in a corporate compensation function, consulting environment, or combination of both.
- Experience conducting compensation analyses, market pricing, benchmarking, and incentive program evaluations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and modeling.
- Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills with the ability to create executive-level presentations and communications.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across multiple business functions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience supporting executive compensation programs and governance processes.
- Background with a leading compensation, or HR consulting firm
- Knowledge of annual and long-term incentive plan design and administration.
- Understanding of compensation strategy, market alignment, career architecture, and rewards program design.
- Experience developing executive communications, strategic presentations, and compensation-related white papers.
- Professional certifications such as CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or related credentials.
- Experience working within a large, complex organization.
