As a Solution Sales Executive (SSE) for the Product Collection, you will serve as a specialist domain expert leading customer-facing solution selling motions centered on our product portfolio (including Jira Product Discovery and strategic product management capabilities). You will partner arm-in-arm with Strategic Account Executives, Solution Engineers, Channel Partners, and Product leaders to translate complex customer challenges into compelling business-value stories, qualify and advance pipeline, and connect product strategy to delivery execution.

Your Future Team You will join a distributed team of Solution Sales Executives within Enterprise Solutions. We operate as a high-performing overlay team that brings deep product fluency, consultative discovery skills, and business-case expertise to enterprise buyers—including Chief Product Officers, Heads of Product Operations, CTOs, and Transformation Leaders.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead Specialist Sales Motions: Own and advance qualified enterprise opportunities for the Product Collection across target accounts and assigned territories.
• Drive Consultative Discovery: Conduct deep discovery to uncover executive priorities, product delivery bottlenecks, and decision criteria, connecting them to clear business outcomes.
• Co-Sell & Orchestrate: Partner closely with Account Executives, Solution Engineers, Customer Success, and Channel Partners to align internal account teams and progress complex deals.
• Position Portfolio Value: Frame the Product Collection as a strategic solution set rather than individual features, highlighting differentiation, ROI, and executive alignment.
• Build Executive Relationships: Establish credibility with CPOs, VPs of Product, and IT leaders as a trusted advisor in product strategy and discovery methodologies.
• Champion Field Feedback: Surface recurring customer insights, market requirements, and adoption friction back to Product Management and Product Marketing teams to inform future roadmap decisions.
• Maintain Pipeline Hygiene: Manage revenue forecasting, opportunity planning, and pipeline health using structured sales methodologies (MEDDPICC).

In your first 90 days, we'll expect you to:

• Build a clear territory and account strategy in partnership with your assigned Account Executives.
• Master the Product Collection value proposition, key demo plays, and executive messaging.
• Establish working relationships across Solutions Engineering, Product, and Channel teams.
• Qualify and advance your initial pipeline of Product Collection opportunities.
