Highlights:

Summary: The Coordinator is responsible for facilitating, coordinating, and evaluating unit activities for the provision of quality patient care within the framework of the mission, values, and vision of Baptist Health. They are responsible to the Clinical Operations Manager and serves as a role model by providing direction in the application of quality improvement standards, and organizational and departmental goals and objectives in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. The primary role is to coordinate and facilitate the function of the Cath Lab.

Education / Experience:High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum of three years required. Cath Lab experience preferred. License / Certification: Active RCIS, RCES or RN licensure required, BLS required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Evidence of commitment to continuing education. • Knowledge of regulatory agencies to ensure compliance. • Ability to scrub and circulate. • Able to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing. • Able to cope with stressful situations and change. • Prioritize work tasks effectively. • Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and customer relation skills.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: Position requires sitting for 20% of the workday and mobility 80% of the workday. There is occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching. There is frequent reaching, use of hands and repetitive action. Requires occasional lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 150 pounds. There is a continuous need for speaking with clear diction and hearing sensitivity in conversation either by phone or in person. Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range. Inside protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Minimal noise levels. Much exposure to computer work. Occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock. Some exposure to infectious disease while performing job-related tasks. Some exposure to hazardous chemicals. Occasional exposure to radiation.
