For our headquarters in Neuwied near Koblenz, we are looking for a

Design Engineer for Machine Modification and Modernization

Your tasks:

• Conceive and structurally design components, assemblies, sketches, and drafts, and coordinate these with internal and external development partners as well as with the client.
• taking into account functional, manufacturing-related, and economic considerations.
• Create, review, and/or adapt functional descriptions.
• Perform calculations to determine the dimensions of the parts and assemblies to be designed.
• Generate bills of materials, test specifications, reports, etc.
• Familiarize oneself with the functional assemblies of delivered machinery and optimize them.
• Development of project concepts and project plans

Your Qualifications:

• Successfully completed degree in engineering (Diplom, Bachelor’s, or Master’s) or technical training in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field, with a focus on Development/Design.
• Extensive design experience and proficiency in a standard 3D CAD system, preferably Creo and SolidWorks.
• Experience with machinery for paper and/or textile processing would be desirable.
• Proficiency in standard MS Office applications and SAP
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Analytical Thinking and Results Orientation
• Strong social competence, excellent communication and teamwork skills
• High level of commitment, reliability, independence, flexibility
