ABOUT THE ROLE

The Partner Operations Manager leads Operations within Basata's Partner Success team — the connective tissue between the team that launches new partners and the team that manages ongoing relationships. You'll run two teams: Documentation & Workflow Specialists (who maintain the workflow documentation keeping every partner account compliant and consistent) and Agent in the Loop.

We need someone who has built and led operations inside a medical practice — not just worked within someone else's system — and who can manage documentation quality, project timelines, and medical records processes with rigor.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Lead the Documentation & Workflow Specialists team — own workflow documentation, SOPs, and change management as regulations, EMR configurations, and practice protocols evolve; set KPIs and SLAs for quality and turnaround

- Own how medical records are created, managed, and mapped across partner accounts

- Manage projects across teams — keep the operational backbone (SOPs, portfolio and workload tracking) current, and drive go-live/handoff coordination

- Bridge Partner Integration and Growth Partner — equip account managers with product, workflow, and documentation status; resolve escalations

- Lead the Agent in the Loop team — scheduling, coverage, QA, performance management, and reporting to the Director

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Experience building or leading operations within a medical practice or hospital — hands-on practice operations, not just following someone else's process

- Project management experience — running timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, owning go-live/handoff processes

- Experience leading medical records / HIMS functions — how records are created, managed, and mapped into workflows

- Strong record-keeping and documentation experience — SOPs, playbooks, compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations

- People management experience across vendor or clinical support staff (Medical Assistants, workflow specialists, care coordinators)

- Familiarity with EMR systems (Epic, Athena, Modernizing Medicine, Nextech, or equivalent)

- Working knowledge of HIPAA and BAA requirements

NICE TO HAVE

- HIMSS certification and/or PMP

- Background in specialty medical practice operations and understanding of medical practice workflow

- Lean Six Sigma or project management support
