Job Description

At a glance: The Service Integration Engineer is responsible for ensuring the stable, reliable, and optimised operation of controls and application layers. The role bridges incident resolution, system integration, and continuous improvement. It ensures seamless interaction between controls, WCS/WMS applications, and operational processes.

In addition, the Service Integration Engineer acts as a leading technical expert within the team, providing guidance, knowledge sharing, and technical leadership while maintaining strong customer interaction to ensure service excellence and business alignment.

Your impact:

  • Support colleagues to manage and resolve complex incidents across controls and application layers (ASRS, PLC, SCADA, WCS, interfaces)
  • Perform end-to-end root cause analysis across system components
  • Monitor system performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Optimise controls logic, application configurations, and integrations
  • Ensure alignment between controls behaviour and application logic
  • Drive problem management and permanent fixes
  • Act as the leading technical expert within the team for controls, integrations, and application-related issues
  • Provide technical coaching and knowledge transfer to colleagues
  • Maintain proactive customer interaction, ensuring clear communication during incidents, changes, and service improvements

Consult

  • Advise on system risks and optimisations
  • Support decisions on configuration changes and integration design
  • Provide input during incident escalations, problem reviews, and changes
  • Act as a bridge between Controls, IT, and Application teams
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor for customers and internal stakeholders

What makes you a great fit?

  • Strong knowledge of controls (ASRS, PLC/SCADA) and WCS/WMS systems
  • Experience with incident, problem, and change management
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across IT, Controls, and Operations
  • Recognized subject matter expert with the ability to lead technical discussions and guide colleagues
  • Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Continuous improvement mindset and strong ownership mentality

This position offers a competitive salary range of €5000 to €6000 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
