Hendrickson Bus Corporation
We are looking for a dedicated and safety-conscious SUV Driver to join our student transportation team. In this transitional role, the driver will operate a company-provided SUV using a regular (non-CDL) driver’s license to safely transport students to and from school and related activities. While in this role, the driver will be actively enrolled in a training program with the goal of obtaining the required endorsements.
While Operating an SUV (Non-CDL):
- Safely transport students following assigned routes and schedules
- Ensure student safety during pick-up, transit, and drop-off
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly vehicle interior
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, school staff, and supervisors
- Complete required trip documentation and incident reports
- Learn and apply student transportation safety procedures and emergency protocols
- Demonstrate steady progress toward licensure and professional development goals

Requirements:
- Valid regular (Class D) driver’s license
- Clean driving record and strong attendance
- Commitment to completing training and obtaining Passenger (P) endorsement
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and DOT physical
- Professional, reliable, and student-focused
Pay Rate:
$17.00/hr - Preservice Training (1 week)
$21.50/hr - Once endorsements are achieved
