Now we are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our project Brainer, which is building a comprehensive online platform for measuring, training, and systematically developing human cognitive abilities, as well as other projects within our holding.

What will be in your focus:

  • Work with multiple independent product teams and help them make infrastructure and cloud architecture decisions.
  • Design and build infrastructure for new products from the early stages.
  • Review existing infrastructure across different products and identify reliability, security, performance and cost improvements.
  • Choose infrastructure solutions based on each product’s architecture, scale, business requirements and stage of development.
  • Build and maintain cloud infrastructure, with AWS being a key strategic platform.
  • Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
  • Introduce and maintain Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation where appropriate.
  • Set up and improve monitoring, logging, alerting and observability.
  • Ensure infrastructure reliability, security, scalability, backup and recovery practices.
  • Optimize infrastructure costs and maintain visibility into cloud spending.
  • Support engineering teams in investigating and resolving production incidents.
  • Work closely with developers on architecture, deployment and infrastructure-related decisions.
  • Document infrastructure and key technical decisions to make future ownership and handover straightforward.

You are our perfect match if:

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud / Infrastructure Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS and its core services (VPC, IAM, EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, Route 53, CloudFront, CloudWatch, load balancing, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture and ability to design infrastructure based on a product’s current stage, scale and business needs.
  • Experience designing and launching production infrastructure from scratch.
  • Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD and deployment automation.
  • Solid knowledge of Docker and containerized environments.
  • Good understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles and experience automating cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong understanding of networking: DNS, TLS, routing, load balancing, CDN, firewalls and private networks.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting and production observability.
  • Good understanding of infrastructure security: IAM, secrets management, access control and least-privilege principles.
  • Experience working with production databases, backups and disaster recovery practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot production incidents and identify infrastructure bottlenecks.
  • Understanding of cloud cost management and infrastructure cost optimization.
