About the Role: Housekeeping Team Member

*This position is PRN/Flex-$17-$20/hr

As a Housekeeping Team Member at Broadmead, you’ll create clean, comfortable, and welcoming spaces that support the health and happiness of our residents. You’ll work independently, build meaningful relationships, and help ensure our community always feels like home.

What You’ll Do:

• Follow standardized cleaning procedures and department schedules
• Clean resident homes and skilled care areas independently
• Coordinate with residents and staff to maintain routines respectfully
• Assist with fire drills and emergency procedures on skilled care floors
• Follow health and safety regulations, including isolation room protocols
• Maintain, clean, and store equipment properly; report issues as needed
• Support the discharge cleaning process in skilled care units
• Report any safety or wellbeing concerns to your Supervisor or Manager
• Work assigned weekend shifts in designated areas
• Attend required in-service and web trainings (Relias)
• Report to work during emergency situations as needed
• Promote outstanding internal customer service

What You Bring:

• General knowledge of housekeeping duties
• Basic understanding of safe use of cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment
• 1 year of housekeeping experience, preferably in a senior living setting
• Ability to repeatedly lift 20 lbs and move light furniture
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, twist, and stretch throughout shift
• Comfortable using tall ladders for cleaning tasks
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold residents’ rights and privacy
