Workplace Strategy Manager (Mandarin Speaker)

The Corporate Services Policy and Planning team focuses on policy development, research, strategic planning, data analytics and program management. We support the business by elevating and creating unique employee and corporate service experiences, specifically our operational teams. Our team focuses on implementing industry knowledge across our global portfolio, providing specialist advice and business partnerships on multiple projects and innovative ideas. This role will help provide focused support on strategic programmes related to the corporate services and the employee experience, specifically programs related to workplace services, real estate, catering services, physical security, and others.

  • Policy Research and Assessment: Research and analyze relevant policies and regulations based on business needs, identify gaps and opportunities, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Policy Development: Develop data- and evidence-based policies, guidelines, and initiatives that support business growth, innovation, and an enhanced employee experience.
  • Strategic Planning and Performance Monitoring: Support regional teams in developing strategic plans and frameworks aligned with policy initiatives. Define measurable success metrics and KPIs, monitor progress, and prepare management reports to support informed decision-making.
  • Business Partnership and Advisory: Partner closely with business teams, operations teams, and business leaders to understand their needs and provide professional advice, co-creating systematic, practical, and scalable solutions.
  • Product Development and System Optimization: Collaborate with Product teams on systems supporting Workplace and Corporate Services. Lead requirements gathering, solution design, product planning, implementation follow-up, and continuous improvement to drive digitalization.
  • Data Management and Impact Assessment: Use data analysis and pre- and post-implementation comparisons to evaluate the effectiveness of policies and programs, establishing mechanisms for ongoing monitoring and assessment.
  • Project Management: Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and review of relevant projects, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
  • Change Management: Lead change and transformation initiatives, providing effective communication, training, and ongoing support to ensure smooth implementation and adoption.

Minimum Qualification(s) - Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Facilities Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related discipline. - Strong strategic thinking, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with experience collaborating with or managing teams in a diverse and multicultural environment. - Solid project or program management experience, with a strong understanding of cross-regional collaboration within a matrixed organization. - Full professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin, as the role will collaborate closely with the R&D stakeholders based in China. - Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualification(s) - Relevant experience in management consulting, strategy, corporate real estate, workplace or facilities management, corporate services, or a related field. - Experience in hard services facilities management, building operations, mechanical and electrical systems, or an engineering-related discipline. - A proactive mindset and demonstrated interest in driving business innovation, with openness to change and new challenges. - Prior experience in people and vendor management.
