We are looking for an experienced IT Operations Manager, Europe to lead regional IT support services across our European locations. In this role, you will ensure reliable, responsive, and business-focused technology operations. You will work closely with business, operations, plant and site leadership, and global IT teams to resolve technology challenges, strengthen service delivery, manage the regional IT budget, develop the IT team, and present operational performance and KPIs to IT leadership.

About the job:

  • Lead regional IT support services across European locations, including incidents, service requests, escalations, and recurring technology issues.
  • Build strong relationships with business, operations, plant, and site leaders, acting as the regional IT liaison and escalation point.
  • Drive continuous improvement in IT processes, service quality, standardization, automation, governance, compliance, and user experience.
  • Mentor and coach IT team members, strengthening accountability, technical capability, collaboration, and a customer-focused service mindset.
  • Use monitoring technologies, dashboards, alerting platforms, AI chatbots, knowledge tools, and self-service automation to improve visibility and enable proactive issue management.
  • Manage the regional IT budget, vendors, service providers, cost tracking, and forecasts.
  • Monitor operational KPIs, service trends, and risks, and present performance results and improvement plans to IT leadership.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive IT experience in IT support, infrastructure, service delivery, or operations within a global manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or managing technical teams.
  • Strong knowledge of IT service management, incident and request fulfilment, escalation management, asset management, CMDB, operational governance, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience using IT monitoring technologies, operational dashboards, alerting platforms, and service-performance reporting.
  • Experience presenting operational KPIs and service results to IT leadership.
  • Practical experience building, managing, or supporting AI chatbots, virtual agents, knowledge management solutions, or self-service automation.
  • Working knowledge of programming or scripting languages, such as Python, for automation, data analysis, integrations, or operational reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business and operations leaders and manage budgets and external vendors.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITIL Foundation or another relevant IT service management certification.
  • Experience working in a global enterprise IT environment with matrix reporting relationships.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, endpoint management, network operations, identity services, collaboration tools, and enterprise service desk platforms such as Ivanti and ServiceNow.
  • Experience presenting service health, operational metrics, risk indicators, and improvement plans to senior IT leaders.
  • Multilingual capabilities or experience working across different European countries and cultures.

The salary range for this position is 5800 EUR gross – 6800 EUR gross per month but the final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate.
