The Warranty Engineer reports directly to the Sr Customer Quality Manager. It's primary role is to ensure that customer submissions for warranty claims are expeditiously processed within T&L resulting in a mutual agreement regarding which claims will be credited by T&L based on verification efforts conducted by T&L Technical Staff. The Warranty Engineer will manage status of all claims via data tracking systems present within T&L as well as the appropriate business portal as may be provided by the customer.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Weekly capture customer specific warranty claims into Littelfuse database (Aras, RMA App, CoPQ App).
- Direct customer to send specific warranty claim units to the originating facility (Muzquiz, Matehuala, Piedras Negras) for evaluation.
- Secure analysis results of open warranty claims from the originating facility and process (approve/deny/scrap) the claim in Littelfuse database as well as the customer’s designated record location (website).
- Weekly monitor the open warranty claims to ensure expedience of processing each claim through to closure with the customer to ensure there are zero auto debit cases due to.
ABOUT YOU
- Engineering Degree in Electronics, Electric or Industrial. Experience
- 2+ years of experience in Quality, Engineering or Project Management.
- Demonstrated ability to influence others with data and proven track record of partnering with multi-disciplinary teams (Sales, Engineering, Quality, Operations).
- A full complement of PC skills (Microsoft office suite with emphasis on Excel, PPT, Power BI).
- Excellent (English) written and verbal communication skills.
