As we grow, we are seeking a Wealth Planning Coordinator to join our team in New Bern, NC. This role is working alongside a Senior Wealth Advisor and helps deliver comprehensive wealth management services and exceptional client experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-oriented, detail-focused, and passionate about helping clients achieve their financial goals. This position offers a growth path toward advanced planning, relationship management, and advisory responsibilities within Signature Wealth Group.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Serves as primary point of contact for clients.
• Builds strong relationships through communication and proactive service.
• Maintains consistent communication with clients regarding inquiries, processes, and initiatives in a timely manner
• Schedules meetings on the phone, in person, virtually, and through mailings.
• Open new client accounts, process money movement, and research information as needed
• Creates and maintains records and files utilizing Client Relationship Management (CRM) software.
• Contribute to a positive team culture focused on service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Prepare meeting agendas, reports, and presentation materials.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of

• Company’s working structure, policies, mission, and strategies.
• General office practices, procedures, and methods.

Skill in

• Client Relationship Management (CRM) software, or similar contact management software.
• Microsoft Office 365 applications
• Financial Planning Software
• Effective communication across multiple client platforms (in-person, virtual, phone and mail)

Ability to

• Gather and organize client financial information for planning analyses.
• Assist in preparing retirement, investment, tax, estate, insurance, and cash flow planning recommendations.
• Update and maintain financial planning software and client records.
• Review planning deliverables for completeness and accuracy prior to client meetings.
• Coordinate implementation of planning recommendations with internal specialists and external professionals.
• Support branch growth initiatives and referral opportunities.
• Analyze and research account information.
• Take initiative and proactively follow up on submitted items to ensure completion; resolve errors, questions or concerns.
• Use appropriate interpersonal styles and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels, in person and virtually.
• Work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
• Provide a high level of customer service.

Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial services, banking, wealth management, accounting or a client-facing role.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Registrations: Series 7 & 66 required or willing to obtain within stated period after start date
