Collections Specialist - Train On-Site Home Office Program - Salary up to $21.05/hour

Citi is seeking Collections Specialists to manage customer accounts and drive effective resolutions. Train on site/ Home Office Program

This position requires you to complete training on site at 9060 South Rita Road Tucson, AZ 85747. After training, you may have the option to participate in our Home Office Program where you will work from home if you are performing in role, have proper working conditions, and required technology.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer accounts by handling outbound client calls using negotiation techniques to reach effective, timely resolutions.
• Follow operational procedures and select the most appropriate course of action when resolving complex situations.
• Drive consistent and accurate collections activity for all account types by effectively using the available tools and resources
• Assess risk in day-to-day decisions, ensuring all actions align with applicable policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Escalate and report control issues with transparency, safeguarding the interests of customers and the organization.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in a customer-facing, collections, or service-oriented role, with a demonstrated ability to effectively handle and resolve client inquiries.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and reach resolution under pressure in customer interactions.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, while exercising sound judgement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems, with excellent data entry skills.
• Excels in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
