We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as AVP, Wealth Lending In-Business Risk Stress Testing, Credit Portfolio Sr. Analyst (Internal Job Title: Credit Portfolio Sr Analyst - C12) based in Hong Kong. In this role, you’re expected to:

The Credit Portfolio Senior Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for supporting regulatory stress testing exercises, loan loss reserve forecasting, and credit cost planning and outlook activities for the Wealth Lending Credit Risk portfolio. The role also provides model risk management oversight for loan loss forecasting models used in stress testing and reserve estimation processes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular monitoring & validation on the performance of the Wealth Lending loss forecasting models (CCAR/ICAAP/SDST/IFRS9/CECL usages).
• Support Model development/validation/ annual renewal / On-going performance monitoring Projects and address model limitations.
• Support regular stress test exercises (CCAR, ICAAP, SDST), Loan loss reserve calculation, and Budget planning for Credit Cost Projection.
• Produces analytics and reporting used to address model limitations.
• Maintain compliance with Citibank model risk policies/procedures, regulatory policies and prepare, update, and ensure approval of all internal policy and procedure changes, keeping proper change and approval logs.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Recommended Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of experience in model risk management within Wealth Lending portfolios, including hands-on experience with credit loss forecasting models and frameworks such as CCAR, ICAAP, CECL, and IFRS 9.
• Knowledge of commercial risk analytics
• Highly numerate, good communication, interpersonal skills and ability to motivate others with leadership potential
• Sound knowledge in SAS programming, data mining and MS word / excel / access / power-point is a must
• Demonstrated accountability, self-motivation, and detail oriented.
• Minimal travelling and working hours in the office may be required during projects.
• High levels of prolonged and intense concentration may be required in front of computer.

Education:

• Bachelor or post-graduate degree in Business, Statistics, Data Science or other related quantitative disciplines
