Your New Role

The Media Planner will report to the Senior Media Planner, Team Lead, based in Taiwan, and will support the Media Planning team in planning, implementing, and scheduling on-air campaigns across Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The role focuses on developing and executing on-air promotional strategies that maximize audience reach, awareness, and engagement across assigned channels and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Media Planning & Campaign Management

  • Develop and execute strategic on-air promotional campaigns to maximize audience reach, awareness, tune-in, and business objectives.
  • Determine the most effective promotional scheduling and campaign strategies based on business priorities and audience needs.
  • Lead the creation of media plans and promo briefs for assigned channels, managing promotional inventory, and ensuring it supports campaign success.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Liaise closely with Creative Services and Traffic & Operations teams throughout the log production and promo scheduling process.
  • Partner with Content Curation, Marketing, Ad Sales, and other stakeholders to align promotional priorities and campaign objectives.
  • Coordinate across multiple departments to ensure timely delivery and deployment of promotional assets.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for promotional planning and scheduling inquiries from internal stakeholders.

Inventory & Airtime Management

  • Manage the filler inventory to ensure appropriate and sufficient promotional content are available to fill airtime. This is to achieve the best possible on-air look for the channel, capable of driving audiences.
  • Optimize use of promotional inventory to support audience acquisition, retention, and viewership growth.

Quality Control & Compliance

  • Review and approve all promotional materials before scheduling and transmission.
  • Ensure promotional schedules are free from messaging conflicts, scheduling errors, or on-air inconsistencies.
  • Monitor promotional activity to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, content restrictions, and company compliance standards.
  • Act as a gatekeeper to uphold brand integrity and maintain high-quality on-air presentation.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Analyze campaign performance, promotional effectiveness, audience impact, and media value delivery.
  • Provide regular reporting, projections, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Use data-driven insights to improve future campaign planning and inventory allocation strategies.

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Support business and operational initiatives, including system upgrades, integrations, user acceptance testing (UAT), and workflow improvements.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, including providing coverage during team members' absences to ensure business continuity

Experience required:

  • 1-2 years’ hands-on experience with Media system – IBMS, iBC and/or Mediagenix will be of advantage.
  • Proven work experience in similar role
  • A diligent team player with a strong eye for detail, stakeholders management.
