Location: Medical Center-Prosper Department: Radiology-Admininistration Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 8 Summary: Responsible for multi-modality, scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming physician orders for appointments for the Radiology department. Works with physicians, nursing and office personnel inside and outside of the Medical Center at Prosper to verify orders and preps. Will provide excellent customer service to patients, families, physicians and staff. Will use clear communication between department leaders to avoid scheduling and staffing conflicts. Time management and closed loop communication is essential in this role. Education and Experience: Must have High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s course work or additional business courses desirable. 2 years’ experience in medical field. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Knowledge of medical and radiologic terminology sufficient to respond to general inquiries. Computer experience with 40-50 wpm typing skills. Operate and understand use of various office machines: copier, fax, voice mail, e-mail. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
