Our team focuses on forward-looking planning and analysis, connecting business and operational developments to their impact on the P&L. Within Eats Finance, our team brings together perspectives across different areas of the business to develop the overall Korea and Japan Eats management view and outlook. We operate in a fast-moving planning cycle, including a three-year Long-Range Plan (LRP), annual budget, quarterly guidance forecasts (LBE), and weekly forecast refreshes. This role combines direct responsibility for selected P&L areas with broad exposure to the end-to-end Eats business. You will work closely with the FP&A leads, partner with senior functional leaders, contribute to management reporting used by senior leadership, and have flexibility to build and improve financial models and FP&A processes.

Manage forecasting and planning for key P&L areas • Take primary responsibility for forecasting, planning, and performance analysis for Korea Fixed Costs, including headcount and other fixed costs, as well as Korea and Japan Tech Costs, working closely with the FP&A lead. • Develop driver-based forecasts and identify key risks and opportunities by connecting business and operational assumptions to financial outcomes. • Partner directly with senior functional leaders on headcount, technology investment, resource needs, and their financial implications.

2. Support the end-to-end Korea and Japan Eats outlook • Work closely with the FP&A lead on the consolidated management view, forecast, and outlook for the Korea and Japan Eats business. • Bring together inputs from different finance and business teams and develop an understanding of the major drivers of growth, investment, and profitability across the Eats portfolio. • Help identify and communicate the most important changes, risks, opportunities, and their impact on the overall P&L.

3. Contribute across the full FP&A planning cycle • Support the team’s three-year LRP, annual budget, quarterly LBE, and weekly forecast refresh processes. • Analyze what is changing in the business outlook, why it is changing, and the expected P&L impact. • Contribute to management reporting, deep dives, and financial analysis used by Eats leadership and Coupang senior finance leadership.

4. Build and improve financial models and FP&A processes • Build and continuously improve financial models for your areas, with flexibility to redesign existing approaches where a better solution exists. • Improve forecasting methodologies and contribute to improvements in broader planning and management reporting processes. • Use data, automation, and new technologies, including GenAI, to simplify recurring work and create more time for forward-looking analysis and business partnering.
