About the Role:
We're looking for a AI Partner Manager to help build and scale our ecosystem of AI technology alliances and go-to-market partners. This role blends the technical relationship-building of a Technology Alliance Manager with the deal-sourcing and pipeline-building discipline of a Business Development Manager—applied specifically to the fast-moving intersection of cybersecurity and AI.
You'll work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to identify, onboard, and grow partnerships that expand our AI product footprint, drive joint go-to-market motions, and create measurable pipeline and revenue impact. This role requires a real foundation in cybersecurity—you'll be speaking daily with AI & security vendors, practitioners, and technical partners. AI competency is required; we're looking for someone who can drive AI concepts, products, and partner dynamics.
What You'll Do:
Partner Identification & Sourcing
- Research and map the AI technology landscape (foundation model providers, AI infrastructure/tooling companies, ISVs, and system integrators) to identify high-potential partnership opportunities.
- Build and maintain a partner pipeline; support outreach and initial qualification conversations.
Alliance & Relationship Management
- Support day-to-day relationships with existing technology alliance partners, serving as a primary point of contact for operational questions and coordination.
- Help manage joint integration roadmaps in partnership with Product and Engineering, tracking technical milestones and dependencies.
- Coordinate onboarding for new partners, including access to APIs/SDKs, technical documentation, and partner portals.
Business Development & Deal Support
- Assist in structuring partnership agreements (technology, co-sell, and referral arrangements) alongside legal and deal-desk stakeholders.
- Support business case development, competitive/market research, and ROI analysis for prospective partnerships.
- Track partner performance against KPIs (integration usage, joint pipeline, co-sell revenue) and report out to leadership.
Go-to-Market Enablement
- Partner with Marketing to support joint announcements, co-marketing campaigns, webinars, and content (case studies, solution briefs).
- Work with Sales to build partner enablement materials (battlecards, one-pagers) and support co-sell motions.
- Help coordinate participation in partner-related events, summits, and demos.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as a liaison between internal teams (Product, Engineering, Legal, Marketing, Sales) and external partners to keep initiatives on track.
- Maintain accurate partner records and pipeline data in CRM/partner management tools.
What You'll Need:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, sales, customer success, or related areas (internship experience applies).
- Cybersecurity experience is preferred —coursework, internship, certification (e.g., Security+, related bootcamp), personal projects, or professional experience in security, IT, or a related technical domain. You should be comfortable in conversations about the security landscape (threats, vendors, category dynamics) from day one.
- AI/ML experience is strongly preferred. Candidates without direct AI experience should be able to point to a track record of quickly ramping up on new technical domains (e.g., self-directed learning, certifications, coursework, prior pivots into unfamiliar technical areas) and should speak to why AI partnerships specifically excite them.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to internal and external, often technical, stakeholders.
- Proven ability to effectively convey the unique AI value of partner organizations, engaging CrowdStrike leadership, field teams, and GTM partners across internal and external channels.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple partner relationships/projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with common productivity and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
Preferred:
- Direct experience with AI/ML technologies, tools, or partner ecosystems (model providers, AI infrastructure, MLOps, AI security/governance).
- Prior internship or coursework related to cybersecurity, AI/ML, SaaS partnerships, or channel/alliance management.
- Familiarity with API-based integrations and basic technical fluency (able to read documentation and speak knowledgeably with technical partners).
- Experience with partner or alliance management platforms (e.g., Crossbeam).
- Exposure to co-selling or channel sales motions, ideally within cybersecurity or AI markets.
What Success Looks Like in the First Year
- Own end-to-end coordination for a defined set of technology alliance partners.
- Contribute to sourcing and onboarding several new AI partnerships.
- Build reliable reporting on partner pipeline, integration health, and co-sell performance.
- Become a trusted cross-functional point of contact between Partnerships and Product/Sales/Marketing.
