Job Description:
CROWN Hellas Can Packaging SA is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to perform maintenance and repair on can manufacturing equipment during day shifts.
Job Responsibilities:
* Perform preventative maintenance on can-making machinery, including presses, bodymakers, decorators, and other associated equipment. * Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and failures efficiently to minimize production downtime. * Execute repairs, overhauls, and replacements of mechanical components such as bearings, gears, motors, pumps, and conveyor systems. * Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions. * Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field. * Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician, preferably within a manufacturing environment, ideally in can packaging or similar high-speed production. * Strong understanding of mechanical principles, hydraulics, and pneumatics. * Proficiency in using various hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong commitment to safety procedures. * Flexibility to work day shifts as required. * Good communication skills in English and Greek.
