Job Description

We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team at our Streator location (1613 N Bloomington St). As a Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of our organization, delivering quality service and smiles to our customers throughout the community. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, values efficiency, and enjoys building positive relationships with customers while navigating your local neighborhood.

• Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers in a timely and professional manner
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure efficient service and on-time arrivals
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for all transactions
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Inspect vehicle condition regularly and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating a vehicle
• Handle cash and payment transactions accurately and securely
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status and any obstacles encountered
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times
• Build positive relationships with customers and represent the organization professionally in the community

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license
• Minimum 2 years of driving history with a clean Motor Vehicle Record meeting company standards
• Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposes
• Must pass a criminal background check and Motor Vehicle Record Check
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Customer service orientation with a positive, professional attitude
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Reliable and punctual with a commitment to meeting delivery deadlines
• Physical ability to lift and carry packages safely
• Familiarity with local Streator area roads and navigation is a plus
• Willingness to maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness standards
