Job Description:

Position Overview: Single Driver OTR

Wilsonart, in Minneapolis, currently has an opening for a Single Driver OTR. This CDL-A Truck Driver will transport materials to and from specified destinations in the assigned department/location. Performs other tasks as required.

SCHEDULE: M-F, 4am start time. 2 overnights and 3 evenings home per week. ALL WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS OFF!

PAY RATE: average $1500+/wk ($0.7535/mi)

LOCATION: Brooklyn Park, MN

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

- Drive a 53’ tractor-trailer (dry van) to deliver our products (laminates, countertops, adhesives, etc.) to our customers in Wisconsin & North Dakota.

- Interact with our customers, provide exceptional customer service and support, and assist with unloading truck.

- Ensure all loads are secured prior to departure and visually inspect the truck at the beginning and end of each shift.

- Use your skills in navigating the roads safely and delivering promptly.

- Maintain all required documentation and report any issues to our team.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

- CDL-A. 1+ year tractor-trailer experience strongly preferred.

- Hazmat endorsement preferred, or must be willing to obtain within three months of hire

- High school diploma or GED

- No major moving violations in past 3 years (minor accidents/tickets will be considered on a case-to-case basis)

- Ability to push/pull/lift 50lb

- Must pass a DOT physical and substance screening

- Knowledge of Department of Transportation and state regulations and local laws pertaining to vehicle operations

- Knowledge of truck hauling procedures

- Knowledge of hazardous waste materials and safe handling procedures

- Skill in operating lift trucks.

- Knowledge of safety standards applicable to the work area and other rules/regulations governing work activities

- Ability to work independently

- Ability to understand and follow direction
