Business Development Manager- China & Europe collaboration

The Business Development Manager plays a key role in identifying and developing strategic growth opportunities across Europe and China. This includes evaluating new business initiatives, partnerships, alliances, and collaborations that support long-term value creation. The role supports market analysis, monitors competitive developments, and translates customer needs into actionable business opportunities. Based in China and reporting to the Business Development Director Europe, this position serves as a critical bridge between the European and Chinese organizations, with a strong focus on building and strengthening relationships with Chinese customers.

General Responsibilities • Evaluates, analyzes, and formulates strategies for business growth • Work closely with leadership to develop business development strategy • Lead analysis of market trends and helping to translate them into our product roadmap • Identify prospective clients and work with the team to craft effective outreach initiatives • Collaborate with leadership on development of project proposals that effectively frame opportunities and articulate the steps and phases of a project

Experience / Qualifications • A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience. • Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands • Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity • Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

• Act as a key liaison between China and Europe teams, ensuring alignment on customer opportunities and business priorities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Chinese customers, translating customer needs into business opportunities
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration (Sales, Engineering, Product) to support opportunity development
