Test and Automation Engineer

Extropic is hiring a Test and Automation Engineer to help accelerate development of our embedded systems. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a startup environment, who is looking to take ownership of product areas and ensure quality and stability. The ideal candidate is a generalist who enjoys working close to the metal.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

- Automating data collection of devices under test

- Programming in Python and/or C++

- Familiarity with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers

- Familiarity with embedded Linux systems

- Familiarity with standard hardware protocols (SPI,I2C,USB,PCIe,MIPI,UART)

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

- PCB design and layout

- Embedded system design

- Handling and debugging complex integrated systems

- Probing and testing integrated circuits
