Job Family Overview
The Professional Services family group at F5 is responsible for providing fee-for-service consulting services to clients by providing a complete project solution to achieve
measurable business improvement using firm products and services, defining
opportunity/process, systems integration, or other proprietary tools.
F5’s Client Project Management job family leads client-facing engagements, primarily focused on the delivery of technology, software, or systems implementation projects. Serves as the primary point of contact for clients, managing project scope, timelines, and cross-functional delivery teams. Ensures projects meet technical requirements, quality standards, and business outcomes while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. Drives complex implementations, develops program governance, and influences account growth through trusted client relationships.

TECHNICAL ACUMEN Possesses a broad understanding of various Client Project Management techniques, tools, and methodologies. Designs, builds and maintains
project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management. This includes overseeing Client Project Management teams to ensure project delivery and outcomes are successful across the organization. Lead collaboration across all stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational and client strategies and priorities.

Responsibilities
- Leads end-to-end delivery of mid-to-large-scale client projects in technology or systems domains.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders and internal delivery teams.
- Manages scope, schedules, and resourcing, proactively mitigating risks and resolving issues.
- Collaborates cross-functionally to ensure technical and business requirements are met.

- Uses evaluation, judgment, and interpretation to select the right course of action.
- Work is done independently and is reviewed at critical points.
- May impact closely related teams including all teams that are assisted.
- Proficient in building and maintaining project plans including scope, schedule, Budget and risk management.
- Able to effectively project cost account to both forecast budget and manage expenditures and monitor progress to project pans and design recovery strategies if the project deviates from the baseline plan.
- Communicates moderately complex concepts with others to inform and direct action.
