Your Role:

As the Head of Delivery Center, you will be the single accountable owner for delivering every confirmed customer order—from Order Center handoff through POD completion and delivery data handover to Finance. You will own the Delivery Center’s results, team, processes, and reporting, set delivery priorities against month-end and quarter-end revenue cutoffs, and manage third-party warehouse and logistics partners.

This role reports to the Head of UES and is based onsite in Los Angeles, CA. It serves as the operational backbone between Sales, the Order Center, the Manufacturing Warehouse, Sales Operations, and Finance—building the team, SOPs, and visibility that turn paid orders into completed deliveries on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the single accountable owner for Delivery Center results, including paid-but-undelivered backlog, on-time delivery rate, POD completion, and delivery data accuracy
• Build and lead the delivery operations team: define roles, staffing plan, daily work allocation, and performance expectations
• Develop SOPs and training materials so new team members can operate independently in delivery systems and processes
• Run the end-to-end delivery process: Order Center handoff, inventory and SSN/FFSN matching, deliverability confirmation, customer delivery coordination, shipment, POD collection, and system updates
• Plan delivery capacity and set realistic order cutoffs for month-end and quarter-end based on carrier lead times; manage third-party warehouse and logistics partners on schedule, quality, and cost
• Own delivery documentation control: ensure Delivery Acceptance, shipping documents, and PODs are complete, traceable, and handed over to Finance on schedule, including Bill & Hold records and Ship-to state data
• Publish the weekly delivery status report and backlog action plan, with reason, responsible department, and expected close date for every order not ready for delivery
• Manage interfaces with the Order Center, Manufacturing Warehouse, Pillar Sales, Sales Operations, and Finance; hold clear responsibility boundaries and escalate cross-department blockers to the End-to-End Project Team
• Drive delivery process and system improvement, including workflow automation and data integration across order, inventory, and logistics systems

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience: 7+ years of experience in order fulfillment, delivery or logistics operations, or supply chain, with 3+ years in a management role.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, operations management, business, or related discipline.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build, train, and lead operations teams and hold them accountable to KPIs.
• Delivery Ownership: Proven record owning delivery or fulfillment results for serialized, high-value products (vehicles, robotics, equipment, or electronics), including third-party warehouse and logistics partners.
• Technology Fluency: Proficiency in ERP, CRM, or order management systems; data-literate and able to build delivery reporting and dashboards from scratch.
• Collaboration: Able to work cross-functionally with sales, finance, warehouse, and operations teams while holding clear responsibility boundaries.
• Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving company with ambitious goals; able to work onsite and flexibly during quarter-end peaks.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in automotive OEM or dealer vehicle delivery, or robotics / capital equipment deployment

- Understanding of revenue recognition cutoffs, Bill & Hold, and how delivery data affects sales tax nexus

- Experience standing up a new delivery or fulfillment function, including SOPs, training, and automation

- Bilingual English/Mandarin communication skills
