As the (Senior) Procurement Operations and Deployment Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring procurement services are successfully delivered to the organization according to agreed service levels, collaboration model and following the company Policies and Procedures. This role ensures business continuity, and safeguards governance, alignment, and timely escalation management.

Your tasks:

  • Support the development and execution of country/MSC Procurement plans, sourcing initiatives, and category strategies.
  • Ensure Procurement governance, compliance, contracting, approvals, and policy adherence in line with global standards.
  • Act as the key Procurement Business Partner for country/MSC leadership and represent Procurement in leadership and governance forums.
  • Align Procurement activities with business priorities, financial planning processes, and changing operational needs.
  • Monitor end-to-end Procurement processes and address performance, governance, or service delivery gaps.
  • Identify spend optimization opportunities, supplier risks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage supplier relationships, business reviews, audits, and support sourcing and negotiation activities where required.
  • Drive the deployment and adoption of global/regional contracts, Procurement tools, and process changes.
  • Lead Procurement projects, manage escalations, and coordinate issue resolution across business, GBS, Sourcing Hub, and Category teams.
  • Monitor KPIs, risks, and operational performance, while ensuring best practices and lessons learned are documented and shared.

Your profile:

  • 10+ years of Procurement experience, including purchasing, category management, and contract lifecycle management.
  • 5+ years of experience in a multinational and global business environment.
  • Strong expertise in procurement operating models, governance, policies, and end-to-end procurement processes.
  • Proven project management and continuous improvement experience, with the ability to lead initiatives from planning through implementation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a data-driven and results-oriented approach.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across functions and levels.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and resilient, with the ability to prioritize competing demands and drive change.
  • Sound financial and performance management knowledge, including budgeting, KPI tracking, and performance measurement.
  • Advanced proficiency in procurement technologies and systems, including SAP, SAP Ariba, Power BI, e-sourcing and contract management tools, as well as Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fluent English (German would be an asset), with willingness to travel up to 10% and work flexibly across global time zones in a hybrid work environment.
