Global Commercial, a function within Care Enablement, unites Sales, Marketing, Global Sales Excellence, and Global Technical Operations. This team delivers high-quality medical devices, technical services, and effective commercial strategies across global markets, advancing our mission to improve patient lives. As a Field Service Technician, your role will focus on ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and uptime of Fresenius Medical Care equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and technical support. You will work closely with customers, clinical staff, and internal teams to deliver high-quality service, resolve technical issues, and maintain strong customer relationships. In addition, you will be responsible for accurate service documentation, spare parts management, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in line with company standards and procedures.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities to ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability.
• Provide timely and professional technical support to customers, ensuring high levels of service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate service documentation, reports, and system records in line with company procedures and quality standards.
• Manage spare parts inventory and support efficient service operations to achieve first-time fix objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to support equipment installations, evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Profile:

• Technical high school education in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in field service, technical maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair of technical equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
• Customer-oriented mindset with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, including travel, site visits, and occasional on-call support.
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
• Knowledge of SAP, service management systems, or medical devices is considered an advantage
• Valid driver's license (Category B) and willingness to travel regularly to customer sites.
