JOB SUMMARY:

We are hiring a Technical Product Manager to lead discovery, ideation, and development of product vision and roadmap in the support of new digital products and services in the retirement space and beyond. The role supports the overall goal of delivering solutions that address the unmet needs of owners and employees of small and medium-sized businesses. The ideal candidate applies their strong knowledge of AI systems, their ability to synthesize large data sets, and their strong technical acumen to create solutions that have a meaningful impact on the lives of our customers and will shape the future of our firm.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own the strategy, execution, and business impact of user-facing AI, data, and technology solutions

• Generate, validate, and prioritize new AI-driven product ideas aligned with our growth strategy and customer needs

• Translate business problems into product requirements that leverage data, models, and insights

• Partner with engineering, product, and design to deliver scalable, responsible AI solutions

• Oversee the use of data to drive product decisions, experimentation, and optimization

• Define success metrics, KPIs, and measurement frameworks for AI and analytics products

• Identify gaps and opportunities to serve our customer base with AI-first solutions

• Champion the use of responsible AI practices, partnering with the AI Committee to ensure solutions are compliant and meet the needs of a highly regulated environment

• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to gather requirements, define user stories, and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs.

• Engage daily with engineering and design teams to set strategy, clarify requirements, provide feedback, and ensure that product increments are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

• Organize and participate in user research sessions and usability testing to gather insights and validate product features, iterating based on feedback.

• Lead and participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Partner with internal stakeholders to design, prototype, and test early-stage solutions.
• Work with leadership on long-term product roadmap.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years in product management, strategy, or innovation roles leading digital, B2C and/or SAAS initiatives.

• Experience delivering products that leverage data, analytics, AI, or machine learning

• Familiarity with core AI/ML concepts

• Experience working with structured and unstructured data

• Ability to evaluate tradeoffs between custom AI solutions and off-the-shelf tools or platforms

• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with ambiguity.

• Knowledge of commonly used product management frameworks.

• Strong ability to work with vendors and internal teams, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders for successful project delivery.

• Comfortable presenting product strategy and impact to stakeholders across all levels of the organization

• Strong cross-functional collaboration and written communication skills.

• Strong foundation in customer research, prototyping, and early-stage product development.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

• Strong analytical thinking and ability to assess product market fit and ROI.

• Job level will be set based on the candidate’s strength and experience
