Job Description:
Paid Search Supervisor has 4+ years of experience in SEM. Healthcare and Pharmaceutical experience a plus. They are responsible for working alongside their dedicated Director/AD in making sure their client roster is meeting industry and company standards. This is a vital role as one of the intermediaries between department leadership and junior team members.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Craft Paid Search insights based on performance data & marketplace trends
- Configure, deploy, and optimize Google/Bing/YouTube campaigns
- Think creatively, identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems
- Analyze reports and identify opportunities for new campaigns
- Train/coach Sr Specialists and Specialist on crafting client facing performance insights
- Take complex ideas and elevate them to a senior audience
JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directly manages the day-to-day hands-on operations of the search client business overseeing Sr Specialist and/or Specialists in their daily tasks to enhance their training and development
- Develops and manages the strategy for assigned campaigns and maps out test recommendations and multiple bidding structures based on KPIs optimizing campaign settings
- Builds out initial reporting insights and presents results internally for review taking appropriate action to adjust strategies and budgets accordingly
- Works with media and analytics team to integrate reporting insights and recommended course of action for SEM campaigns
- Oversees accuracy of billing entries into Prisma and works with junior team on proper financial reporting
- Supports senior team members with ad-hoc data pulls while appropriately utilizing junior team resources
- Activation and development expert for campaign, ad copy, and keyword development
- Stays up to date on industry trends and informs the team of anything new that is applicable to the current client roster
- Actively participates in team meetings while supporting senior members with the appropriate data and insights when needed
- Works with Director team on properly training junior members on best practices
- Has the confidence, knowledge, and ability to actively makes changes to the Search accounts while being able to back up their decisions with the appropriate data
- Regularly has a positive attitude towards workload and showcases that positive attitude to the junior members of the team
- Ability to link brand goals to campaign organization and execution while translating and communicating campaign success to clients
- Ready, willing, and able to step up and take the reins from the team's Associate Director as the need arises
- Consistently shows leadership and a willingness to take on new projects
- Understands where SEM lives within the user journey and how SEM & SEO work holistically
EDUCATION
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant area of study is preferred
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
Advanced Google and Bing Certified
EXPERIENCE
4+ years’ experience in SEM is required
Experience working in Pharma/Healthcare/Wellness is preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Communicates effectively & understands how to translate Paid Search vernacular into client digestible communications
- Proficiency in computer skills needed to manage day-to-day workflow (eg, Microsoft Office Suite)
- Advanced understanding of search campaign management toolkit including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Search
- Ads 360, etc., able to navigate, establish settings, pull reports, and implement changes across platforms
- Advanced understanding of Search metrics and how they are connected
- Well versed in the industry and vendor landscape, proactively reading and sharing potential impact with broader team
- Develop strong understanding of condition, therapeutic area and competitive set, key deliverables and business objectives

$85,000 - $115,000
Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
