Buyer – Procurement & Supply Chain

Key Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and supplier management activities, including performance improvement across quality, delivery, and cost.
• Negotiate pricing and support cost control initiatives for assigned commodities.
• Resolve supplier quality issues, material non-conformances, and invoicing discrepancies.
• Analyze MRP signals and manage inventory to meet service levels, inventory turns, and financial targets.
• Identify and reduce excess and obsolete inventory.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and service teams to support production, quality, and product improvements.
• Implement engineering changes and support ERP (JDE) procurement processes and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• ERP/MRP experience (JDE preferred).
