ABOUT THE ROLE

Want to join an exciting, mission-driven startup focused on enhancing hearing aid performance in challenging environments and meeting more patient needs than ever before? Fortell is looking to hire a highly motivated, forward-thinking Remote Audiologist to deliver best-in-class teleaudiology care to Fortell customers. In this role you'll own the full remote patient journey — consultations and sales, remote fittings, and ongoing follow-up care — while also serving as a clinical escalation point and working our Salesforce case queues in support of both our remote care operation and our clinic locations. This role reports to our Head of Audiology and is a full-time remote position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Consultations

- Conduct personalized remote consultations: review hearing test results and audiograms with clients, explaining findings and options in a clear, empathetic, and approachable manner.

- Recommend and sell Fortell hearing aids tailored to individual client needs, balancing excellent clinical care with strong conversion.

- Meet key performance indicators related to conversion, return & upgrade rates, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction, ensuring high-quality client care and business performance.

Fittings & Follow-ups

- Remotely fit, program, and fine-tune hearing aids using Fortell's fitting software, ensuring optimal performance and comfort.

- Conduct structured follow-up appointments to drive device adoption, satisfaction, and long-term success.

- Offer ongoing support and maintenance for hearing aid users, including remote troubleshooting and coordinating repairs.

Escalations & On-Demand Care

- Serve as the clinical escalation point for audiology escalations from our support teams, resolving complex client issues with sound clinical judgment.

- Provide on-demand care during scheduled on-demand hours, supporting clients with immediate product support needs.

Case Queue Management

- Work Salesforce case queues, including hearing aid adjustment requests and audiogram reviews, for both remote care clients and our clinic locations, within defined service levels.

- Document all client interactions and outcomes notes in an accurate and timely manner.

Collaboration & Growth

- Share clinical insights and learnings with the manager, operations, and product teams to collaborate as a key partner in evolving and enhancing the Fortell product & patient experience.

- Stay updated on the latest advancements in audiology, teleaudiology best practices, and hearing aid technology.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING.

You will be required to obtain and maintain additional state licensures (with Fortell's support) to serve clients across our remote care and clinic markets, including traveling as needed to complete licensing requirements (e.g., in-person examinations or proctored testing).
