Senior Accounts Coordinator
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Team: EMEA Finance
Office Location: Sheffield, UK
The role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Coordinator (AP/AR) to join our accounts team supporting the EMEA region. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all transactional accounting activities are completed accurately, efficiently and within agreed deadlines.
What your day will look like:
Accounts Payable duties
- Processing a high volume of supplier invoices in Elite across all EMEA offices, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely posting.
- Processing corporate card expenditure in Elite for all EMEA offices, ensuring costs are recorded correctly and in line with internal procedures.
- Preparing and processing cost reallocations to ensure expenditure is accurately assigned to the appropriate office, department or matter.
- Allocating monthly petty cash expenditure, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded and supported by the relevant documentation.
Accounts Receivable duties
- Processing client receipts in Elite and accurately allocating payments against outstanding invoices.
- Investigating and resolving receipting queries, including overpayments, misallocations and advance payments.
- Taking ownership of the shared remittance inbox, ensuring client remittance information is monitored, actioned and maintained effectively.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve payment allocation queries and support accurate client account management.
The team:
The accounts team based in Sheffield manage the finance Function for all offices within the EMEA region. It is a dynamic team made up of individuals with a varied background in accountancy and finance.

- Experience in a similar role supporting financial administration – accounts receivable/accounts payable
- Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail
- Good IT skills with a strong understanding and evidence of using Excel
- Can work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Able to act under instruction with limited management
- Generates clear, well-organized written work-product internally and externally
- Uses communication skills to influence and achieve objectives
- Plays a key role within the team to promote an efficient and effective team culture
