About Us – Imaging Services

We are seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist with a passion for women's imaging, whether you are looking to begin your mammography career or are already a registered Mammography Technologist.

Freeman Health System offers a supportive breast imaging program where radiologic technologists can receive hands-on mammography training, mentorship, and clinical experience needed to pursue ARRT Mammography certification. Registered Mammography Technologists will find a collaborative environment focused on quality, patient-centered care, and professional growth.

What You'll Do

Responsible for examinations provided at Freeman West and Neosho locations. Provides direct patient care to all ages of patients and contributes to the efficient operation of the department, ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care.

In this role, you will:

• Perform mammography examinations according to departmental protocols and quality standards
• Provide exceptional patient care, education, and comfort throughout the imaging experience
• Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes

Schedule

Full-time (36 hours) and PRN positions available

Hours of Operation

• Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM – 1:00 PM

Requirements

• Registered in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Eligible to pursue ARRT Mammography certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care

Preferred Requirements

• Registered in Radiography and Mammography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Completion of 40 hours of structured mammography education
• Previous mammography experience
• If not currently registered in mammography, willingness to obtain certification within six months
