What You'll Do The Radiation Oncology Nurse Functions In A Collaborative Role With The Radiation Oncology Team And Other Healthcare Providers In Providing Continuity And Outcome-Directed Quality Patient Care. Interdependently Assesses, Plans, Implements, And Evaluates Care Provided Throughout The Treatment Course And Follow-Up Period. Job Involves Direct Patient Care And Encompasses Patient/Family Teaching, Symptom Management, Counseling, And Supportive Role To Assist Patient And Family In Coping With And Adjusting To Diagnosis And Treatment Of Cancer.
Requirements Current Missouri Registered Nurse License Or Current Registered Nurse License From A Compact State. If A Compact License Is Held, It Must Be In The Nurses State Of Residence.
