About Us – Operating Room

• Freeman Health System’s main operating room has nine surgical suites and offers a variety of specialties including gynecology, ear, nose and throat, orthopedics, cosmetic and neurosurgery
• In this fast-paced procedural area, the staff uses their experience, knowledge, and skills to work as a team to take patient care to the next level of patient safety and satisfaction
• We offer an in-depth individualized orientation process to prepare employees for success in the perioperative setting

What You’ll Do

Under the direction of the nurse, performs clerical and receptionist duties associated with unit operations.

Preferred Requirements

Graduate of medical terminology class preferred.
