Junior Accountant

At FTMO, our internal accounting team is an integral part of the finance department and manages a portfolio of dozens of companies – from smaller firms to billion-level players, primarily in the Czech Republic. With the dynamic expansion of our portfolio, we are looking for a new colleague to help us grow further. Thanks to automation and the support of our top-notch IT team, we strive to minimize routine tasks, use smart solutions, and make our work engaging.

We are now seeking a Junior Accountant who is eager to learn, develop, and become part of our accounting team.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

- Process accounting documents and post routine transactions (invoices, petty cash, bank).

- Enter and verify payment orders.

- Collaborate on quarterly financial closings of individual companies.

- Support the preparation of annual financial statements and documents for auditors.

- Handle ad-hoc accounting and finance tasks.

- Cooperate closely with the Controlling department.

WHAT DO YOU BRING TO THE TABLE?

- Secondary education in economics.

- 2+ years of experience in junior accounting role or similar position

- Basic knowledge of the Helios iNuvio or Pohoda system

- Basic understanding of accounting and tax regulations and knowledge of accounting principles.

- Proficiency in MS Excel at the level of basic functions.

- Independence, attention to detail, logical thinking, and organizational skills.

- Fluent Czech and communicative English – we are an international team.
