Garda is seeking an experienced, highly capable Senior Executive Assistant to partner with our existing support staff to provide comprehensive support to our Chairman/Chief Executive Officer. This role will be based in our Scottsdale office, where the CEO is based for the majority of the calendar year. This is a high-impact role requiring exceptional judgment, discretion, organization, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage the CEO’s complex and frequently changing calendar, exercising sound judgement regarding priorities and timing.
- Manage travel arrangements, both domestically and internationally, accompanied by detailed itineraries.
- Ensure the CEO is appropriately prepared for meetings and commitments, including coordinating agendas, background materials, and other relevant information.
- Anticipate upcoming needs, deadlines, and commitments and proactively ensure appropriate follow-through.
- Handle highly confidential and sensitive information with exceptional discretion.
- Handle special projects and other professional and personal responsibilities for the CEO that require a high degree of trust, judgement, and execution.
Qualifications & Desired Skills:
- Significant experience supporting a CEO, C-suite executive, or other senior leader in a sophisticated, fast-paced professional environment.
- Self-starter, able to work in a highly dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy.
- Superior communications skills – both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to deal professionally with a variety of people at all levels internally and externally.
- Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office).
